From Bid Evaluation Committee Member to Federal Prime Contractor

It came from the inside of a government procurement process, where she served on a bid evaluation committee and witnessed exactly how contract awards were made.

Tamika had built her career the hard way. She started as a global proposal manager, moved through political campaign management, public sector marketing communications, and government sales operations. She became a political speechwriter. A trusted voice. A woman who understood both the language of government and the ambitions of business.

Sitting on that bid evaluation committee changed everything. She sat in rooms where vendor decisions were made. She collaborated across policy, procurement, contract management, risk management, and finance. She understood how government evaluated proposals, how scoring worked, and ultimately, who got the contracts and who went home empty-handed.

In 2007, Tamika walked out on faith and launched T.D. Consulting Group, Inc. Her mission was simple and urgent: give small businesses the insider knowledge that the procurement system had never offered them. Teach them to compete. Help them win.

What she built over the next seventeen years exceeded every expectation. TD Consulting Group became a federal prime contractor in its own right, earning a 20-year GSA Multiple Award Schedule, winning a prime contract with HUD OIG, delivering for CVS Health and Aetna, producing publications for Cook County Government and Posen-Robbins School District 143.5, and serving international corporations across multiple countries.

The proposals she wrote and the coaching she delivered have supported more than $100 billion in contract awards across public and private sector engagements globally.

The mission has never changed. To help government agencies get what they need. And to help small businesses win what they deserve.
